The Defib In Your Street program aims to create some of the safest places in Australia to have a sudden cardiac arrest, which is one of the deadliest conditions. Our program aims to:
Currently, our program is focused on improved cardiac arrest survival rates in the 3020 postcode (Sunshine, Sunshine North, Sunshine West and Albion).
To help us improve survival rates, get involved in free training, fundraising or hosting a defibrillator:
Get the skills to perform CPR on an adult, child and infant with a free 2.5 hour Nationally accredited HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course.
We are placing defibrillators every 400m in our target suburb. Exclusively open to those in Sunshine (3020) - contact us to enquire about being a host.
