The beginning of 2024 has brought a burst of activity to several of our divisions here at St John Ambulance Victoria. As we strive to better serve our local communities, we are thrilled to announce that Ballarat, Bendigo, Darebin, Mildura, Portland, Shepparton, Sunbury, Yarra Ranges, Warrnambool, and Wodonga divisions successfully held their recruitment sessions in the search for new members to join their ranks. Over 530 people signed up to attend information sessions about becoming a member in these regional locations, which took place from January to May.

50 have already started their volunteer journey and are on their path to becoming a first responder.

Joining St John Ambulance as a volunteer is more than just lending a helping hand – it's an opportunity to connect with the community, learn life-saving skills, and make lifelong friendships along the way.
